Jordan Baker has a smaller, though significant, role in The Great Gatsby. Add any information that applies, giving specific examples from the story. Use as many paragraphs as necessary to present an accurate picture of Jordan.

Section 1:
In this section give background information about Jordan, describe her physical appearance, and explain who she is in relation to other characters in the story.

Jordan Baker, Daisy's friend, is a very self-centered and conceited woman. She is a flapper by every definition of the word. She spends much of her time partying, gossiping and drinking. It appears that she returns Nicks love, but Nick decides that they don't have that big of a connection and he doesn't love her. She is also a golfer, but there is a rumor circulating that out of her dishonest ways she cheated at a golf tournament.

Section 2: In this section, give examples of Jordan's character and personality.

Jordan seems to be a partier but deep down she cares what happens to people. She is also a very nosy woman. At parties, one of her goals is to eavesdrop and find out recent juicy news about other people. At one point, she hushed Nick(was it him?) after he interfered with her listening.
